The first event dedicated to the launch of the project «Screening diabetic retinopathy»

On the 17th of February 2022 the first event dedicated to the launch of the project «Screening of diabetic retinopathy» was held. Avanesova Tatyana Andreevna, project manager, spoke about the essence of the project, introduced its partners, shared with the audience the tasks, ways of implementing screening, presented a printed version of the brochure for patients.

In addition, both the method of photographing and the method of creating an overview fundus photograph using the Aurora portable retinal camera from Optomed (Finland) were demonstrated.

The event was held in the Diagnostic Department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Central Clinical Hospital with a Polyclinic" of Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, among the participants were doctors of the ophthalmology department, coordinator of the project of the Foundation of research and treatment of retinal diseases, representatives of the company Zeiss, EyeCare company management and manager. At the end of the event, all the invitees continued to communicate over a fragrant cup of coffee
